On the outskirts of Reno, Nev., lies the Diamond Ranch (based on a real-life brothel), which caters to the carnal needs of any patron who can pay the going rate. Mary (Amy Madigan), the cathouse's jaded manager, keeps a watchful eye on the ranch's sexy ladies as they ply their trade -- and try to keep their dark secrets under wraps. Susan Seidelman directed this absorbing drama costarring Nicki Micheaux, Paige Moss and Jessica Collins.
